SHOTS were fired into a house at Busby near Sydney’s Liverpool late on Monday night, the latest in a series of drive-by shootings in the city’s southwest. A family of five who were home at the time were unharmed, police said. The incident occurred just before midnight. A small white car was seen driving nearby shortly afterwards.
New laws passed in NSW earlier this month created a specific new offence of drive-by shooting, backed by a maximum 14-year jail term.
