Abstract
Police said the assault on the Scots College students — reportedly close friends Hugh Gordon, 17, Richard Vatner and Sebastian Kesby, both 16, — appeared to have been unprovoked.
A STUDENT from an upmarket Sydney school is fighting for his life after he and two of his friends were allegedly bashed with an iron bar by a group of men in the eastern suburb of Double Bay.
Police said the assault on the Scots College students — reportedly close friends Hugh Gordon, 17, Richard Vatner and Sebastian Kesby, both 16, — appeared to have been unprovoked. Two 18-year-old men — one from Rushcutters Bay and the other from Stanmore — have been charged over the alleged attack, which left two of the schoolboys in a serious condition in hospital and the third with minor injuries.
The accused men will appear in Central Local Court today.
