AUSTRALIA Post wants to lift the price of an ordinary postage stamp from 45 cents — which it has been for a decade — to a neat 50 cents.

But Australia Post is no ordinary business, and it’s easier said than done.

First, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission must embark on a travelling roadshow to consult key “stakeholders”, as public servants call thepublic.
